I guess everyone deserves a break albeit sunshine or time out ,i have managed to achieve both this last week.
La Mer in Santorini ,Greece was to become my home for 9 blissful days.
Lazy days soaking up the sunshine, walking the strip in Kamari Beach and of course trying out a few cocktail's along the way(Crystal Lounge on Kamari Beach -the best cocktail's )
Santorini is more of a Honeymooner's paradise but if chillin is your speciality this could work for you too!by the way i was not on my Honeymoon either.
One thing i did have in common with Santorini is it's love of Jewellery ,Feathers.bright Turquoise ,Crystal bracelets and leather ..the list is endless ....i did indulge and brought Lot's of idea's back and purchases!.
A day spent in Oia shopping and sightseeing was breathtaking ,the views are quite spectacular ,a visit to The Red Balloon for lunch with the lovely Gaby ( Travel Writer) proved to be a memorable day ,the Baked Feta and Fava Beans come highly recommended .
Fira has amazing nightlife with wonderful Cocktail lounges with fabulous views of the sunset ,apparently no one sunset is the same,each slightly changing colour ...quite breathtaking.
I do recommend to take a sail boat and watch the Sunset on the water near Oia,it is like nothing else ...time stands still for a while.
So after all that R +R ,it is time to get cracking with Mezzola.co.uk and the Autumn ahead,i have updated the website and put on some fabulous steals ,simply look under SALE.
My trusted photographer will be happily snapping the new Autumn /Winter Collection.
